I have to admit I’ve only just heard of bath asparagus (Ornithogalum pyrenaicum) and it’s diminishing existence. It flowers in June and bulbs can be bought from a nursery in Wales. It has been decreasing in numbers due to habitat loss, being eaten by deer, inappropriate management and development and recreational pressures.
It can be eaten as a vegetable and according to my client is delicious. Do look out for it when walking in woods the flowers are absolutely stunning.

With spring and summer now approaching fast its time to start thinking about your garden. Decking is a great solution for our sloped gardens in Bath. It can be a lot less expensive to install a deck than terrace your garden. I personally love the look of weathered timber and the feel of timber underfoot on a hot summers day.
Below you can see some examples of hardwood and softwood decks. There are obviously more examples on our portfolio page. We are garden carpentry specialists so please do give us a call if your require any decking, pergola’s or garden offices installed.
